Olympus 12mm 2.0 3D printed lens hood

FYI, the Olympus 12mm is a decent lens that comes with a premium price tag, and a VERY PREMIUM metal lens hood that cost 50~90 USD. Even the third party hood isn’t that cheap either. I got this lens 2nd hand cheap, and I decided to do a really quick 3D modeling of the lens hood. Repair of Digi-Cabi dry cabinet and made 2 shocking discoveries

Introduction Avid photographers (or wine lovers) will definitely owns 1 or more dry cabinet to keep their beloved gears in clean condition, and these items are not the longest lasting electronics. I have encounted 2 failures, one happened back in 2014, and the most recent case last week (2 May 2020). As I made attempt for 2nd repair, I made 2 shocking discovery.
